Custom expeditions

Build your own crossing.

Blocks IV and V: the same wide forest and granite country as Block I, without the convoy. Tell us the shot you're after; we build the route.

01

The Quiet Blocks

Full day

Blocks IV and V, entered through Galge. Slightly higher fees, dramatically fewer engines. The same wide forest and granite country as Block I, elephant, sloth bear and the occasional leopard on undriven tracks, without the convoy that forms every dawn around a Block I sighting.

02

The Photographer's Dawn

2 days

First light at the waterholes with a tracker who reads the park's movement, not just its map. Long lens, low angle, one vehicle, positioned before the light turns hard. Built for the shot, not the checklist: fewer stops, longer waits, and a route that changes with what the tracker is seeing that morning.

03

The Coast & Interior Traverse

3 days

From the restless edge at Patanangala Beach to the Menik River forest and the Buthawa tank. Dunes, plains, wetland and coast: the full range of Yala's terrain in one crossing, in a modified four-wheel-drive with a mandatory DWC ranger aboard once you cross the river.

How it works

Not an instant booking, a planned one.

Every expedition here starts on WhatsApp, not the booking engine. Tell us your dates, party size and what you're after, a specific block, a photography brief, a multi-day traverse, and we build the route around it: which tracker, which vehicle, which permits, and where you'll actually sleep if the trip runs overnight. Rates depend on the exact route and season, so we confirm a fixed price before anything is booked, never an estimate that moves once you've committed.

One vehicle. Your route.

Send us your dates, your party and the terrain you want: dunes, forest, lagoon or coast. A tracker who has read this park for twenty years plans the crossing around it.
